Thanks to first lady Michelle Obama and her "Let's Move!" campaign, it will be next to impossible for schools to hold bake sales, candy bar sales and other fund raising projects to send school children on field trips even to the nation's capital.The 2010 Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act required the U.S. Department of Agriculture to set standards for all food and beverages sold during the school day, which includes vending machines, snack carts and daytime fundraisers.
Freedom to fund raise took a blow and liberty a back seat to egregious government overreach.
